Maha Rudram from 27th Feb onwards till shivarathri

  
The Maha Rudram  program started on the 27th preceeding the shivarathri celebrations on the 3rd of march 2011.

     The program commenced with offering of Guruprarthana prayers to the Sringeri Jagadgurus..Later on the vedic chanting wih Mahanyasam and Rudram stated with Rudraabhishekam to the shrine Shri Rajarajeshwara at Lingannapet temple.

Students of the  Shri Bharathi Thirtha Pathashala alowg with vedic Pandits particpated in the program ,The morning program concluded with offering of Mahamangalaharathi and thirtha prasadeam disstribution  to the devotees. In the evening the Rudra kramaarchana pooja would be observed.

   This Maha rudram will go on till the 2nd of march 2011.On the 3rd the Maha Rudra homa will be performed for universal Peace,









The Laksha thulasi Archana was also performed for Shri venketeshwara swamy deity as part of shivarathri celebrations

 











The shivarathri Celebrations was  observed on the night of 2nd March 2011.Rudram chantings by vedic pandits went  on through out the night ,Large number of people took part in the program and seek the blessings of Lord shiva
 The Mahashivarathri program was observed with great pomp and it was a great event with wonder ful and wholehearted participation from local people and from near by towns.The shivarathri program was preceded by Maha satyanarana pooja done by group of people as seen here.The satyanarayana pooja was done in the morning and evening.

  Late in the evening the shivarathri program started with chanting of Mahanyasam and Panchamrutha Abhishekam as seen.

The bharathi thirtha veda pathasala students chanted the maharudram till wee hours to complete the shivarathri program.

This was followed by offering of Mahamangalaharathi and distribution of prasadam

Discourse on Padma MahaPuranam from 26th jan to 1st feb 2011

 The special Discourse on Padma MahaPuranam was delivered by Veda Bramhashri Maheswara Sharma .The Discourse started on the 26th January 2011 and ended on the 1st February 2011.This is one of the asthadasha Puranam written by Sage Vyasa Maharshi in the ancient past.

   Veda Bramhasri Maheswara Sharma lucidly explained the meaning of Puranas, what does it stand for and how is is significant in today;spresent life.He aslo explained what are the benefits of reading and understanding the treasures of our ancient past and how we can shape up our lifes in order to achieve the state of supreme Happiness.Human Beings are confronted with sorrows, dissolusionments,tragedies and dissappointments.
               

       श्रुतॆरिवार्थम् स्मृतिरन्वगच्छत्

The above stanza eloquently quotes how vedas transmit knowledge in a lucid manner similarly the Padma mahaPuranam transmits the knowledge in simple language and easily understood by the comman man.
The Padma mahaPuran is diveded into five Portions for easy uderstandings .These are as follows:

 

1.shrusti kanda: This Kanda deals with creation and origination of the universe and how creation happens.


.2.bhoo kanda :This kanda deals with Bhooloka or earth and how it influences the living beings


3.swarga kandam: this kanda deals with how a person goes to the superior status by doing good actions and deeds.
4.patala kandam: This kandam deals  how a person falls in life by doing bad and wicked actions and deeds and what are the remedies available.
5.Uttara kandam:This kandam deals with vedanta and the vedantic thinking that is relevant in a persons life.

padapuja program at Lingannapet

On the Mrughashira star date the monthly padapuja program to Jagadguru Shri Bharathi Thirtha Swamiji was celebrated at Lingannapet on the 17th january 2011.Amid vedic chants  the Rudra abhishekham was performed to the padukas.
In the morning the padukas were taken around the temple after chanting the prayers to the Jagadgurus.
There was good participation from the local village who eagarly participated in the program.
The unique feature of this program was the vedic chanting was done by the students of the Bharathi Thirtha veda  pathasala .
The maha mangalaharathi was performed and prasadams were distributed to the crowd that participated in the function.

Report on Padapuja Program at kamareddy

On the occasion of the inaguration festival of Shri Lakshmi Ganapathy Devasthanams at kamareddy ,which was celebarated for four days.
 

Several Homas were conducted on this auspicious occasion.The Mrugahshira star fell on the forth day.To commemorate the occasion of the temple the Padapuja program to His Holiness jagadguru Shri Bharathi Thirtha Swamiji was performed with great pomp














There was rousing reception from the people present on the occasion .After the homas were conducted in the morning, the padukas was taken around the temple premises and surrounding compound amist vedic chantings.
The padapuja commenced with the observance of Guru Prarthana in the beginning.This was followed by Vedic chantings and the padapuja was perfomed with panchamritha abhishekam.

This was followed by the offering of Mahamangalaharathi.

To celebrate the occasion there was a music program organised from TTD(Tirupathi tirumala Devasthanams).

Finally the program concluded with Annadhanam to all the people who participated in the program.

Grand Pathasala Inaguration ceremony at Lingannapet

The much awaited opening ceremony of Shri Bharathi Thirtha Veda Pathasala was celebrated with great pomp and splendor on the Sravana Suddha Sapthami -0n the 16th August 2010.

On the eve of the opening ceremony on the 15th August 2010, the Vastu Rakshogna Homa was performed in the night till 12.30 am.

On the 16th morning the program started with prayers offered to Shri Bharathi Thirtha Mahaswamiji.The guru paduka pravesha was performed and the padukas were taken from the Shri Rajarajeshwara Temple(Harihara Kshetra) to the Pathasala premises amist vedic chantings.

The punyahavachana sankalpa was performed by veda Bramhashri Phani shashank Sharma and the MahaGanapathi Homa was perfomed .The purnahuti was offered amid vedic chantings by the Pathashala pundits.

The 108 Ambulance sevice to the lingannapet village and sourroundings was commissioned today.The services were commissioned by the local MLA Shri Rama Rao-Lingannapet.

The CEO of 108 Ambulance service Mr.Venkat Changavalli was present on the occasion to donate and offer the services to the public to coincide with patha sala inaguration

The Go puja was performed by Smt and shri venkat Changavalli,CEO,108 Ambulance services.

The Guru Paduka pooja was perfomed admist vedic hymns and chantings by veda Bhamhashri Phani Shashank Sharma.

At the time of sumuhurtha the veda patha was commence to the students admitted into the pathasala.Shri Gattu Narahari Avadhani started the vedic initiation to the students.

The Mahamangalaharathi was offered with sevas from different sections .

Finally the Thirtha prasadam and Panchamritha was distributed among the participants who came in large numbers.

The Annadhana was performed immediatly after the completion of the pooja.

There was rousing reception and attendance of people who participated very eagarly in this grand function.









In the evening ,a sabha was held with participation and speeches from various sections of the people.The local MLA Mr.Rama Rao along with Mr.Purushottam MLA from Hyderabad,Shri Venkat Changavalli,CEO,108 Ambulance services,Shri.Sudhish Rambhatla,business Tycoon from Hyderabad. spoke on the occasion.











Plaques were offered to the Politicians as memento and they were honoured with Shawls
It was a great and grand occasion and acknowledgements were given to all the participants.
It is worthwile to mentions that Veda Bramhashri Gopi krishna Sharma and Veda Bhramashri Radha krishna Sharma have taken this great initiative in establishing this grand pathasala to give back to the society form what they have learnt in siddhipet patha sala, sringeri Pathasala which finally culminated in establishing an institution at thier Home village.
