Shri Krishnamurthi Personal Assistant to His Holiness visits Lingannapet!

We take great pleasure to inform everyone that Shri KrishnaMurthi Garu ,Personal  Assistant to his Holiness Jagadguru  Shri Bharathi Thirtha Mahaswamiji visited Lingannapet Pathashala to get a first hand view of the facilities at the patha shala and also to insspect the functioning of the Pathashala.His visit is very significant owing to the fact that The Jagadguru is planning to visit Lingannapet Pathahsala in the month of December 2012.

As Shri Krishnamurthi is foremost incharge and occupies a very important position in the Sringeri Sharadha Peetham, His visit will clear the way for the Jagadguru Shri Bharathi Thirtha Swamiji's visit to Lingannapet.

Shri Krishnamurthi went round the Pathashala inspecting the facilities for the Jagadguru and the entourage that accompanies the Holiness on Tour Programs.

Here He is seen with the Pathashala students after taking a formal oral Vedic recital from the students.

He was very pleased with the facilities and immenslly satisfied with the organising capabilities of the Pathashala Management at Lingannapet.

Member of Parliament Shri Balaram Naik visits Pathashala

 The MP from Mehaboobabad constituency Shri Balaram Naik made a brief visit to Lingannapet to have a first impression about the bharathi Thirtha Veda Pathashala on
17th august 2012.He was accompanied by his staff.

He and his staff were received with Honours. This picture depicts the Management of the pathashala institution holding discussions with the MP.
He was also present at the prayer function offered to the Jagadguru shri Bharathi Thirtha Swamiji, conducted by the students of the pathashala.
He was very much impressed with the pathashala and with the activiites of the pathashala.
He made a speech on how the vedas have contributed to the humanity and how it benefits mankind.He also stressed on the importance of learning the vedas which bestows prosperity and peace

62nd vardhanthi celebrations of His Holiness at Lingannapet

The 62nd vardahanthi celebrations of jagadguru shri Bharathi thirtha  Mahaswamiji was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pomp at lingannapet.To mark the 62nd birthday of his Holiness Shri Shri Bharathi Thirtha mahaswamiji  on the 28th march 2012.

At the conclusion of the ^2nd vardhanti celebrations Annadhanam was offered to all the participants who graced the function.

MahaRudra and Rudra Homam at Lingannapet during shivarathri 2012

The Maha Rudram was performed at lingannapet preceedong the Shivarathri Festival.It was a great program organised and performed only by the Students of the Shri Bharathi Thirtha Veda Pathashala.The program went on for four days on the eve of Shivarathri Festival.
It was conculed finally with Rudra Homan performed by the students and staff of the Shri Bharathi Thirtha+ Veda pathashala,lingannpet.
We can see the proceedings of the program with the MahaRudram sankalpam being performed by Shri Phani Shashank Sharma.

Guru Paduka Puja Program at Vemulawada

 The Guru paduka pooja program to the padukas of Jagadguru Shri Bharathi Thirtha Mahaswamiji was celebrated at Vemulawada khetra admist a large gathering to pandits and devotees on the 30th june 2011.

 At 9.30 AM in the morning the Guru padukas were taken inside the temple at vemulawada and kept at the Mantapam.










   The Guru paduka pooja was perfomed by the Temple priests and authorities from Vemulavada Devasthanams,.till 10 AM.

Subsequently the padukas were taken in procession around the village and temple with large number of followers and devotees admist vedic chantings.

The main paduka pooja was performed by the pandits of Shri Bharathi thirtha veda pathasala,Lingannapet( Branch of Sringeri sharadha peetham).Local pandits also participated in the occasion with group vedic chantings till the paduka pooja was completed.
