The Shankara Jayanthi Celebrations for this year 2010 would be celebrated at Kalady the birth place of Shri Shankara Bhagawatpada.
It is well known that around 12 centuries ago,Lord paramashwara took the form of Shri shankara bhagawatpada at kalady in kerala state for the purposes of protecting the Santhana vaidika Dharma which had to face tremendous onslaught from Buddhism and other non believers.At this juncture shri shankaracharya established the vedic vaidika Dharma and expounded the Advaitha Philosophy. He Accomplished his mission by establishing four amnaya Peethams in four corners of India and shed his mortal coil at Kedarnath after a very remarkable period of 32 years.However His birth place had remained unknown for several centuries till Shri shri Sacchidananda shivabhinava Bharathi Mahaswamiji,the 33rd pointiff of shri sringeri sharada peetham located the birth place of Shri shankara with great efforts.The Mahaswamiji constructed two beautiful temples for Sri Adi Shankaracharya and Goddess Sharada and performed the consecration and Kumbhabhishekham exactly 100 years ago on the 21 st February 1910.
Presently shri Shri Bharathi Thirtha mahaswamiji , the presiding acharya of Sri sringeri sharadha peetham will the perfoming the consecration and Kumbhabhishekam to the temples of Shri Adi shankaracharya and Goddess sharadha and Shakthi Ganapathy at kalady.
This is a very historic and auspicious occasion and everyone is invited to participate and serve the Guru and obtain his blessings and grace.
The shankara jayanti celebrations would commence on the 14th morning with Mahanyasa purvaka shatarudrabhishekam to the idol of Adi shankaracharya ,sahasranama archana , followed by parayana of the four vedas, Prasthanatrya bhashya Sri Madhaveeya shankara digvijayam,followed by maha mangalaharathi
This will be followed by recitation of vedas between 4pm to 5 pm.From 5pm onwards the vidwat sabha would be conduted in the august presence of His Holiness,upanyasas from scholars,mangalaharathi and prasadam distribution.
the program would be repeated till 17th evening.
On the 18th Shri jagadguru will perform special puja to the shrine of Adi shankaracharya.
The veda parayanas and Prasthanatrya bhasha along with sri Madhaveeya Shankara Digvijaya.
At 5pm the vidwat sabha will be conducted an Scholars would be honoured with distribution fo certificates to candidates qualifying successfully in the vedic examinations.
Finally the procession would be taken for shri Adi shankaracharya idol.
On the 19th the Laksha Modaka ganapathi Homa with poornahuti would be conducted in the august presence of His holiness.
On the 20th the Ati Rudra Parayana will begin and end on the 31st of May 2010.
On the 21st May the Kumbhabhishekham ceremonies will commence with Kumbhabihekham day falling on the 23rd,This will be performed by the jagadguru .
)n the 24th The shata chandi mahayaga mahasankalpa will begin .
On the 28th the poornahuti of shata chandimahayaga at 12 noon will be perfomed in the august presence of His Holiness.
On the 31st the poornahuti of Ati rudra Mahayaga at 12 noon will be observed in the presence of His Holiness.

Report on Padapuja Celebrations at Nacharam
The Ninth padapuja celebrations were observed at Nacharam (19/4/2010).
The program started at 6.30 am in the morning with prayers to Shri Bharathi Thirtha Mahaswamiji.The Padukas were taken from the Lakshmi Narasimha swamy temple in a decorated car amid vedic chants and background nadaswaram.The padukas were taken around the streets of Nacharam .The reception was rousing and excellant among people.More than 500 people participated in the program and recieved the blessings.
At 10 am the paduka procession arrived at Sringeri Shankara Mutt at Nacharam.The paduka puja took place at the shankar Mutt ,Nacharam.
Shri Madhavananda Sarawathi swamji of Thoguta Mutt spoke on the occasion highlighting the importance of practising Dharma and how the Guru helps in everyone's life.
The mahamangalaharathi was observed soon with Thirtha prasadam was given among the partipating devotees.
The Annadana seva was observed and every one was given the mahaprasadam.

Kotikumkumarchana at ChunchanaKota-Warrangal District.
The Kotikumkumarchana program for shri Bhuvaneshwari Matha is being organised at ChunchanKota village at warrangal district.The event begins on 28th of april and ends on 2nd May 2010.Over 100 Rutviks from Sringeri Sharadha Peetham are going to perform this great archana.Devotees are requested to take part in this grand program and seek the blessings of Shri Bhuvaneswari Matha.

60th vardhanti of the Jagadguru Shri Bharathi Thirtha Mahaswamiji
The 60th vardanti celebrations of the jagadguru shri Bharathi Thirtha swamiji started on the 17th March 2010.
12 pandits from Sringeri came and participated on this grandoccasion for performing the shatachandi Homa.
The program stated on the 17th at 7.30 am with Guru prathana, Mahaganapathy pooja , punyahavachanam and Mahasankalpam.Soon the Rutvik varam was conducted.
The Ekottaravriddi Nitya chandi parayanam commenced.The Mahamangalaharathi with Thirtha prasadam was offerd to all the devotees.
At 6.pm the navakshari jamam stated with chaturveda sevas.The Mahamangalaharathi was performed in the end.
On the 18th february 2010, the program stated with Nitya chandi parayanam with Mahamangalaharathi was offered.
At 6.pm the navakshari japam with chaturveda sevas was offered.The Mahamangalaharathi was performed in the end.
On the 19th February 2010, the program stated with Nitya chandi parayanam with Mahamangalaharathi was offered.
At 6.pm the navakshari japam with chaturveda sevas was offered.The Mahamangalaharathi was offered in the end.

15 ritviks came and performed the above homas.the poornahuti was offered to all the above homas at the end,.
At 7.30 am the chandi yagnam started which went till 10.30 in the morning.
at 11.am the Guru paadukapooja program started.Shri Madugula Nagabhani Sharma spoke on the occasion for over 2 hours highlighlighting the importance of Guruji and linking with Goddess Saraswati.
At 1.pm the Mahamangalaharathi was offered and Annadana seva for offered to over 2000 perople who had gathered on this occasion the recieved the blessings.
At 5.pm the Guru paduka utsava wasconducted and the padukas was carred out in a decorated car throughout Lingannapet village.
At 8.pm The vardanthi sabha was conduted .Shri Bachampalli Santhosh Kumar,Kuppa sivasubramanya Avadhani ,principal of veda pathasala Tirupathi Tirumala devastanams ,spoke on the occasion.The chief guest of the occasion was chaired by the Administrator and CEO of 108 Ambulance service ,chavalli Venkat who spoke on the occasion.
