The 62nd vardahanthi celebrations of jagadguru shri Bharathi thirtha  Mahaswamiji was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pomp at lingannapet.To mark the 62nd birthday of his Holiness Shri Shri Bharathi Thirtha mahaswamiji  on the 28th march 2012.

At the conclusion of the ^2nd vardhanti celebrations Annadhanam was offered to all the participants who graced the function.

MahaRudra and Rudra Homam at Lingannapet during shivarathri 2012

The Maha Rudram was performed at lingannapet preceedong the Shivarathri Festival.It was a great program organised and performed only by the Students of the Shri Bharathi Thirtha Veda Pathashala.The program went on for four days on the eve of Shivarathri Festival.
It was conculed finally with Rudra Homan performed by the students and staff of the Shri Bharathi Thirtha+ Veda pathashala,lingannpet.
We can see the proceedings of the program with the MahaRudram sankalpam being performed by Shri Phani Shashank Sharma.

Guru Paduka Puja Program at Vemulawada

 The Guru paduka pooja program to the padukas of Jagadguru Shri Bharathi Thirtha Mahaswamiji was celebrated at Vemulawada khetra admist a large gathering to pandits and devotees on the 30th june 2011.

 At 9.30 AM in the morning the Guru padukas were taken inside the temple at vemulawada and kept at the Mantapam.










   The Guru paduka pooja was perfomed by the Temple priests and authorities from Vemulavada Devasthanams,.till 10 AM.

Subsequently the padukas were taken in procession around the village and temple with large number of followers and devotees admist vedic chantings.

The main paduka pooja was performed by the pandits of Shri Bharathi thirtha veda pathasala,Lingannapet( Branch of Sringeri sharadha peetham).Local pandits also participated in the occasion with group vedic chantings till the paduka pooja was completed.

The Executive Officer of the Vemulavada Devasthanams also participated with his team members to receive blessings of the Jagadguru.
The mahamangalaharathi was offered to the padukas in the end.There was good participation of people .
Finally the event concluded with Annadhanam to all the participants in the program.





       

New Admissions to Pathashala for the year 2011-2012

We take pleasure to announce the new admissions to students to our Pathashala for the year 2011 and 2012.
The basic critria for adnissions are :
1. The student must be less than 10 years of age.Upper age limit is not accepted.
2.Parents must have performed yagnopavitham to the student before admission.
The students will be taught intensively the various vedas with complete discipline.
The classes will begin in full swing  from 4th of june 2011 (jeystha Masam) .The last date for student admissions will be till 4th of june 2011.

Report on Padapuja celebrations at Lingannapet

The Padapuja celebratios to His Holiness Jagadguru shri bharathi Thirtha swamiji was observed on the Mrugashira star dated 13th march 2011 at lingannapet andhra Pradesh.

The program started with the offering of Guruprarthana prayers at the temple at Lingannapetta.

The panchamritha abhishekam was performed to the padukas follwed by Rudra abhishekham.

The program concluded with the offering of the mahamangalaharathi and distribution of prasadam to the deveotees who were present in large numbers,
