Report on Padapuja program at Guntur

The sixth padapuja program was celebrated at Guntur on the Mrugashira star,December 2009.There was rousing reception and the program stated with morning prayers offered to the jagadguru shri Bharathi thirtha swamiji .The padukas was taken around then Guntur town in a decorated van.People thronged the streets to have darshan of the padukas and was very well received.The decorated vehicle was taken back to the shankara Mutt where the padapuja program was celebrated amidst vedic chants and hymns.Hari Prasad Rao from shankar Mutt,Guntur spoke on the occasion .He stressed on the need for propogation of sanathana dharma and its benefits to people.After the completion of the program prasadam was distributed to everyone present in the occasion.

Report on Padapuja activites at Rimmanaguda

The fifth Padapuja program was celebrated at Rimmanaguda-golokashramam.

The program started with prayers offered to shri jagadguru bharathi thirtha Swamiji,at 7.30 am in the morning.The padukas were taken around in a decorated van, inside the streets fo the rimmanaguda Town.The decorated vehicle with the padukas were well recieved with groups of devotees offering arathis at every street.There was large attendance and it was a grand sight to see the celebrations around the town.The decorated vehicle was taken back to the ashram at around 10.30 am.the pada pujas to the padukas started around 11.a.m.and the pujas were completed by 1.a.m.Aftrer the completion of the program the prasadam were offered to all the devotees.
The next program will be held at Guntur

Report on Padapuja celebrations at Karimnagar

The fourth padapuja celebrations were observed here at Karimnagar
On a grand scale.The functions started in the morning at 8.am.with vedic
Chantings from celebrated scholars from Bharathi thirtha veda pathasala.
After the commencement of puja , the procession of Shri bharathi thirtha mahaswamiji’s padukas were taken around karimnagar in every corner .The participation to the propram was very well recieved by the people with great enthusiasm as can be evidenced by the photographs
This is the fourth padapuja program abserved at Andra pradesh.with furthur programs to be followed every month at different places.

Report of Padapuja celebrations at Narasaraopet

Lord Paramashiva took the form of Shri ShankaraBhagavadpada and the countinous lineage of Guru Shisya parampara can be seen and witnessed with the present36th pontiff Anantha shri Bharathi Thirtha Mahaswamiji.His Birth place is Narasaraopet wnere the padapuja celebrations was performed admist a large gathering of people.
The Padukas were carried through the main streets of narasaraopet in procession.The padapuja was perfomed at Shri Sringeri Shankara Math, Narasaraopet.
Upanyasa on Sanathana Dharma and its significance was given by Bharathi Thirtha veda pathasala Pandits.
This unique padapuja celebrations was performed with great splendour and pomp.
The next padapuja celebrations will be performed at Karim Nagar- Andhra pradesh

Report on Padapuja celebrations at Nizamabad

The second padukapuja mahotsava of His Holiness , Jagadguru Anantha Sri Bharati Thirta Mahaswamiji was held at Gayatri Kalyana Mantapam, Nizamabad under the administration of Sri Bharati Teertha Veda Pathashala, Lingannapet .












The second paduka puja was held on Bhadrapada Bahula Ashtami of sri virodhi nama samvatsara , mrugashira nakshatram, the birth star of His Holiness.
The paduka puja was performed by the vedic scholars of Shri Bharathi thirtha Vedic Foundation.










The program was organized by Manohar Rao, resident of Nizamabad.
This occasion was graced by the vedic scholar and professor of keesargutta veda Pathashala, Sri K.VS.S Avadhani garu who has been actively involved for past few decades towards protecting the Sanatana dharma. He addressed the gathering (sabha) on the importance of Sanatanadharma and essence for its propogation, Sri Sharada Peetham and illustrated the importance of the blessings and grace bestowed by his holiness Jagadguru Anantha Sri Bharati Theertha Maha Swamiji. His words were inspiring to the devotees who have participated in the occasion.









For participating in the padapuja mahotsava, several vedic scholars came down from Sringeri as well as other parts of the state. Devotees in a large number witnessed the occasion and received the most precious blessings of His Holiness.










The occasion turned out to be a grand success with the precious blessings of His Holiness.
The local devotees felicitated the vedic scholars Sri K.V.S.S Avadhani garu, Sri Vasojjhala RadhaKrishna Sharma Garu,with other vedic and Sanskrit scholars. The paduka seva program will be continued every month in other places on the auspicious dates.Devotees can avail this opportunity to take part in the program and obtain blessings from His Holiness.

Report on Padapuja celebrations at Lingannapetta

The paduka puja mahotsava of His Holiness Anantha Shri Bharati Theertha Maha swamiji was conducted with great pomp and religious fervour,at the Lingannapet village, karimnagar district , Andhra Pradesh ,administrated by Sri Bharati Theerta Veda Pathashala.













Guru Paduka Puja Mahotsava will be conducted every month on Mrugashira star , the birth star of His Holiness shri Bharathi Thirhta Mahaswamiji.This initiative was started for the first time in Andhra Pradesh on Shravana Shukla Krishna Ekadashi of Sri Virodhi Naama Samvatsara at Lingannapet chosen as the venue.















With the objective of imparting the immense knowledge of vedas and Vedic education to the interested and eligible students,vyasojula Sri Gopi krishna Sharma and Sri Radhakrishna Sharma have succeeded in obtaining the blessings of His Holiness to establish a Veda Pathashala at Lingannapet village.With the blessings of His Holiness ,the tradition of performing the Guru paduka puja on mrugashira, the birth star of His Holiness,for propagating the importance of Dakshinamnaya sri Sharada Peetham and spreading the Sanathana Dharma . This new tradition aims at leading the devotees in righteous path of Sanathana Dharma.















The pada puja was performed to the Holy padukas blessed by His Holiness himself, in the premises of the Hari Hara temple of Lingannapet, which is deemed to be the residing place of its native deities. The fabulously decked padukas were taken in a great procession in Ratha around the streets of Lingannapet village amidst Vedic chantings by scholars and the bhajans in praise of His Holiness by Devotees. The procession headed into the temple where a beautiful dais was set to perform the paduka puja which were witnesses by Vedic scholars as well as the Devotees.










The paduka puja was performed with great devotion by Smt & Sri Vyasojula RamaSharma. amidst the chanting of Vedic hymns and verses by several scholars present on the occasion.












The devotees showered the flowers of devotion on the holy padukas and obtained the immense blessings of His Holiness Sri Bharathi Thirtha Swamij by worshipping them.









This holy occasion was graced by the presence of Sri Guru Seva Dhurina Padmashri V.R.Gouri shankerji who visited Lingannapet for the first time .He has been honored by central government with the title of Padma Shri for his services rendered in the past 23 years to Sringeri Sharadha Peetham. Many prominent personalities and Devotees felicitated him.
Sri V.R.Gouri Shankarji addressed the gathering through his profound speech ,said that the Guru Padukas bless us with the inspiration to follow the path laid by Sanathana Dharma.

He appreciated the decision of Vyasojula brothers to introduce the tradition of performing pada pooja on Murgashira star of every month in Andhrapradesh..He also said that the lives of Sri Vyasojula Radhakrishna Sharma and Sri Vyasojula GopiKrishna Sharma have gained salvation by attaining immense and profound affection as well as blessings of Jagdguru at a young age.
Discussing the goals and objectives of the Sri Bharati Teertha Veda Pathashala he announced the construction of the Veda Pathashala with all necessary facilities will be accomplished before the 60th Vardhanti of His Holiness shri Bharathi Thirtha Mahaswamiji.
There after the school will run in full strength towards fulfilling it goals and objectives for which it has been set up.Shri. VR.Gowri shankerji gave an inspiraing and thought provoking speech laying stress on the importance of Sanatana Dharma and need for protection of Vedas.
Sri Rama Sharma representative of Veda Pathashala and famous industrialist chekkilla Rajendra Kumar also gave short speech.
The story of Lord Shiva taking incarnation as Adishankara to protect and perpetuate the dharma and spreading it through the country establishment of four Aamnaya Peethas in the country was beautifully illustrated by famous Harikatha singer Dhulipala shivarama Krishna shastri.
The tradition of performing sevas to the padukas in Andra Pradesh has ushured in a new trend of practising the principles of Sanatha Dharma and the vedic tradition.

MahaShivarathri celebrations 2009














The mahashivarathri celebrations were observed on a grand scale spreading over 5 days From 20.3.2009 to 24.3.2009 with 51 Ritviks participating in Shata chandi homa ,Maha rudra homas ,maha sudharshana Homas and Maha ganapathy homas for the purpose of universal prosperity and welfare of the world.

Dhanvika Upanyasas were held with Dharma Ghosti was also conducted.This initiative has paved the way of showing how to followVaidika methods to the people and to the world

The events were held as per the scheduled list announced.More than 1000 people have participated and obtained blessings from the homas.


Shankara Jayanthi Celebrations-2009





Adi Shankaracharya was the first philosopher who consolidated Advaita Vedanta, one of the sub-schools of Vedanta. He believed in the greatness of the holy Vedas and was a major proponent of the same. Not only did he infuse a new life into the Vedas, but also advocated against the Vedic religious practices of ritualistic excesses. He founded four Shankaracharya Peethas in the four corners of India, which continue to promote his philosophy and teachings. Adi Sankaracharya biography reveals that he was also the founder of Dashanami monastic order and the Shanmata tradition of worship

Jagadguru Shri Shri Bharathi Thirtha Mahaswamiji will be observing Shankara janaynthi at Hassan from 26tth april till 30th april.Simultaneously Ati Rudra Mahabhishekam and chantings will be conducted at Lingannapet pathasala.
