The lamp lighting ceremony was lit by padmashrishri Gowrishankar, Administrator and CEO of Sringeri sharadha peetham along with Dharma Seva Dhurina Shri Yagnasubramaniam,New Jersey,USA, and in presence of His Holiness Shri Sachidananda Bharathi.

The chaturveda parayana commenced by the Ritviks who had arrived in large numbers, in all shakas till late noon time.In the evening The ghana swasti program took place by all pandts still 8.00 pm in the night.The upanyasa program stated at 8.00pm by shri Madugula Manikya Somayajulugaru on veda vaishistya vichara.

On the 29 morning at 7.30 pm the guru prarthana program started .The chaturveda parayana program continued till 1.00 pm in the afternoon by all the pandits.From 4.00 pm onwards the sanmana was offered to all the pandits who had gathered and made the program very successfull, who in turn blessed the organisers.The total number of pandits who participated in the program was 371 numbers.
From Bharathi Thirtha Veda Pathashala the sanmana was given the the chief guests padmashri Gowri shankar,Adminstrator of shri math and Dharma Seva Dhurina shri Yagnasubramaniam , New Jersey, USA.
Students who chanted Bhagawad Gita were also honoured.
the veda pathasala is organized in a grand manner at the village where vidyarthis are learning veda at the tender age and all in the village are honoured by the veda pathasala . i could see the affection of the village for the vidyarthis and the villagers are proud to have this among them
